Community Yoga FAQs

  • No — your camera is always optional.
You are welcome to practice with it off at any time.

That said, I offer a gentle invitation to turn it on if it feels supportive or if you’re practicing taking up space. Sometimes being witnessed in your practice can deepen connection, help reduce isolation, and allow me to offer more attuned guidance — but only if it feels right for you.

Your boundaries, comfort, and needs are always honored.

  • After you register, you’ll receive a welcome email with your Zoom link and class details. You’ll use this same link for each Friday practice unless I announce an update.

To keep our space consent-centered and secure, the link or password may occasionally be refreshed. If that happens, you’ll receive the updated access information ahead of time.

Please keep your link private and refrain from sharing it with others.

  • If you’re unable to attend a class you registered for, please let me know at least 24 hours before class so I can adjust attendance and support the group container.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice—or do not attend—the class will still count toward your pass. This applies to both single classes and 5-class passes.

All sales are final, but your 5-class pass remains flexible — you have two months to use your classes in whatever way best fits your schedule and needs.

Thank you for respecting the shared container and the energy that supports this offering.

  • You can register up until 2–3 hours before class begins.
Because I currently send welcome emails and Zoom links manually, this window ensures you receive everything you need to join class on time and without stress.

If you miss the registration window, you’re warmly invited to join the following week.

  • You’ll want a comfortable space to move, a yoga mat (or soft surface), and clothing that allows ease of movement.
Feel free to use any supports that help your body feel grounded—pillows, blankets, blocks, or a chair.

You’re always encouraged to customize your setup so it feels supportive for your nervous system and body.

  • Yes. You’re encouraged to move in ways that honor your body’s needs. Variations, props, rest, and pauses are always welcome.
There is never an expectation to push, perform, or shape your body in ways that don’t feel supportive.

If you have specific access needs, you’re invited to reach out so I can hold the space with care and intention.

  • You are always invited to modify, pause, or rest. Your body leads the way.
There is no “right” or “wrong” way to practice here — only what feels authentic, supportive, and accessible in the moment.

You are welcome to honor your pace at all times.

  • If class needs to pause for a week—whether for rest, holidays, or personal time—I’ll let you know in advance. You will not be charged for weeks when class does not meet.

I believe in honoring rest as part of the practice, and I trust you’ll honor yours too.

  • You’re welcome to join if you’re a few minutes late — life happens, and you are never shamed for arriving as you are.
I simply ask that you enter quietly and take a moment to settle in so the space remains grounded for everyone.

If you arrive more than 10–15 minutes after class has started, I encourage you to join the following week so you can experience the full practice safely and without feeling rushed.

  • Yes. We practice together in ways that center respect, consent, curiosity, and compassion—for ourselves and for one another. This includes honoring each person’s pace, identities, lived experience, and boundaries.

You’re encouraged to listen inwardly, move at the speed of your body, and refrain from comparison or judgment (toward yourself or others). We hold this as a shared, supportive space where nobody is expected to perform or push, and where the roots of yoga as a relational, collective practice are honored.
